Crisis management and crisis communication training

In a crisis situations managing response and communication is critical. For one of our major clients, we conducted a comprehensive crisis communication and management training in order to be properly prepared for a crisis situation. The training consisted of a theoretical introduction to crisis communication and the basic principles, and a look into good and less good practices, followed by a practical part of the training. This comprised of a simulation of several crisis situations in which participants had to manage the situation and at the same time to communicate it in a meaningful way to key target audiences. After the training, an evaluation of the entire crisis management and communication process was conducted, and is used as a tool for assessment of crisis preparedness.
